World's Largest Solar Farm in California to Power 190,000 Homes


OptiSolar has announced plans to build the world’s largest solar photovoltaic farm 100 miles north of Los Angeles. The planned farm would create 550 megawatts of power, about the same as a coal fired power plant, and enough electricity for the equivalent of 190,000 homes.
